Research & Development Agreements

Description

R&D contracts, or research and development contracts, play a crucial role in the innovation landscape of companies and institutions. These contracts regulate the cooperation between different parties such as companies, universities and research institutions to develop new technologies, products or services. Depending on the cooperation model, there are different forms of R&D contracts, for example the cooperation agreement, in which several parties work together on a research or development project, or the contract research agreement, in which one party commissions another to carry out specific research or development activities. R&D contracts help to create a clear legal and organizational framework, promote innovation through collaboration, minimize risks and ensure the protection of intellectual property. Neubauer Law offers you a comprehensive package for drawing up an individual research and development contract (R&D contract) at a flat rate. This package is ideal for companies, research facilities and institutions that need a legally secure and customized basis for their R&D collaborations.

Scope

In an initial face-to-face or virtual meeting, we will discuss your requirements and objectives for the R&D contract in detail. We clarify the framework conditions of the collaboration, the specific needs of your partnership and any legal and financial aspects that need to be taken into account. Based on the information gathered in the kick-off meeting, we create a customized draft contract that covers all relevant legal provisions. This draft is specifically tailored to the needs of your collaboration and takes into account all necessary clauses, including intellectual property, confidentiality, liability and other critical aspects. Once the draft has been prepared, we will have an in-depth meeting to go through the contract with you in detail. You have the opportunity to ask questions and make requests for changes. Our aim is to ensure that the contract fully meets your expectations and requirements. If any adjustments are required after the first meeting, we will of course make them. If necessary, we will hold a second meeting to discuss the final changes and ensure that the contract fully meets your expectations. Once all discussions have been completed and the changes incorporated, you will receive the final R&D contract, which you can use to start your negotiations.
We are also happy to offer you our expertise in contract negotiations and would like to draw your attention to our attractive hourly packages.
